Hunter's Garden Marlborough

Hunter's Garden Marlborough is New Zealand's premier garden event and is sponsored by Hunter's Wines Ltd. This five day festival showcases the finest gardens in the district. Guided tours take you through private gardens along waterways that make up the Sounds and through secluded town and country gardens from ridge top to valley.
World renowned and local experts on gardening are invited to speak at seminars on everything form growing your own vegetables to planning your garden.
New Zealand Kiteboarding Wave Bash

Last year we held New Zealand's first ever nationwide wave-riding kiteboard competition. It was such a success, we are not only running it again in 2009, but we are opening it up to the world! International competitors are now welcome to join New Zealand's best kiteboarders, carving up the waves, on Taranaki's awesome coastline.
At the end of the 4 days we will determine the best national and international kiteboard wave rider.

Armageddon Expo

To welcome in summer we have loads of events on the Coromandel Peninsula, timed to coincide with the flowering of our beautiful Pohutukawa trees!
Included is the Whangamata Jazz Festival, featuring Top NZ bands, Coromandel food and wine, Jazz boat tours, plus art and craft.
Then of course there are loads of other events throughout the two weeks including art exhibitions, dive festivals, garden tour, kids concerts loads more.
Sculpture-in-the-Park

Venue: The Sculpture Park @ Waitakaruru Quarry Gardens

Sculpture-in-the-Park is a significant annual exhibition of outdoor sculpture. Organised by the Waikato Sculpture Trust, the show will this year be curated by Rob Garrett, an internationally recognised expert on contemporary art. He will source more than 40 new works, which will be displayed along the 2 km walking track in the 42 acre park and arboretum.
The park is a registered Garden of Significance and has been developed from a derelict quarry. Spectacular views and intimate corners provide exquisite settings for sculptures large and small.
Tauranga Moana Seafood Festival

The flavours of the coastal Bay of Plenty will be the stars of the annual Tauranga Moana Seafood Festival, set for Saturday 28 November.
The festival will be held along the historic Dive Crescent area in central Tauranga. The festival will feature seafood and performances by local musicians, and the majority of the food is being sourced locally, including the wine.
