For one week only, Waitangi Park is transformed with big top circus tents, flying trapeze rigs, carousels and candy floss. Festival of Circus 2010 showcases artists and shows from around New Zealand and the world, and includes free workshops on all circus skills for children.

Step foot into New Zealand's most captivating homes. During March 2010, some of New Zealand's most inspiring homes will open their doors in support of a worthy cause.
More than forty properties across Wellington, Christchurch, Auckland and Matakana/Omaha will unlock their front-doors and garden-gates for the NZ House & Garden Tours 2010.
The NZ House & Garden Tours is the largest event of its kind in New Zealand. Created by NZ House & Garden magazine, the proceeds of all four events will be donated to the Cancer Society of New Zealand and cancer charity, Look Good Feel Better.

The Stuart St Potters Co-operative presents an exhibition of works by Rosemary McQueen and Paddy Carr, on display from March 1st - 14th 2010.
The Stuart St Potters Co-operative are a group of local potters and ceramicists who have joined together to run a shop and gallery at 14 Lower Stuart St. Besides selling and exhibiting pottery and ceramics, the group aims to promote local potters and artists working with clay.

An African music legend, funky French punksters, an original member of the Buena Vista Social Club, eight horn-playing brothers and “the voice of the Sahara” are among the stellar line-up of artists.

Dunedin Fringe Festival 2010

The Dunedin Fringe is an annual festival of innovative and experimental art by emerging and established artists from Dunedin, throughout New Zealand, and overseas guests.
The 2009 Dunedin Fringe brought a vibrant and engaging feast of artistic work to the central city. It featured 250 artists who presented 50 events over 11 days to an audience of over 10,000.
The 2010 Festival runs from March 18-28.

WAIRARAPA WINES HARVEST FESTIVAL

The Wairarapa Wines Harvest Festival is recognized as one of Wairarapa's unique, iconic events showcasing sensational wines and food from throughout the Wairarapa region. Seventeen of Wairarapa's finest wineries and ten of its highest profile restaurants & food producers will showcase their wares set amongst ancient native trees in the Festival's spectacular riverside setting in the popular wine growing area of Gladstone. Visitors to the Festival will have the opportunity to sample wines from not only the larger, better known wineries but also from some of the smaller boutique wineries in the region. In keeping with the informality of the event visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the wine makers from the vineyards involved giving them an insight into the wide variety & styles of wine available in the region. The restaurants on the other hand will focus on presenting some of the great local food and produce that the Wairarapa has to offer - Rabbit Pie, Cod & Crayfish Cakes, Venison Burgers and Wild Pork are just some of the delicacies that have featured on previous menus. There will also be an emphasis on entertainment with four live bands performing throughout the day.
