December 2009
NZ's Largest Christmas Tree
Date: 1 - 31 Dec 2009
Venue: Garden Place
City: Hamilton
‘Twas the weeks before Christmas, and all through Garden Place.
Not a stiltwalker was stirring, no costumes with lace
Till the stage was hung by Vic Street with care.
In the hopes that performers would soon be there.
The children were anxious all out of their beds.
While visions of The Trons danced in their heads.
While poets in trees have you ready to clap.
The Big Muffin Band have feet ready to tap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter.
You spring from the grass to see what's the matter.
Away to the stage we flew in a flash.
Together we will enjoy such a good bash.
