Introduction of Peppertree Hotel Blenheim
A graceful villa built at the turn of last century, The Peppertree hotel, Blenheim, is an historic homestead offering old fashioned ambience, accommodation and service. The original native timber detailing, antique furnishings and restrained sense of style combine to recreate the elegance of an age gone by.
The hotel also boasts a timeless country garden with old world features such as a croquet green and a pétanque piste. Though just five minutes from Blenheim the hotel nestles in leafy seclusion within ten acres of rich farmland, promising a relaxing and peaceful stay.
The Peppertree has five well appointed and beautifully detailed suites for guests, each with their own particular character and charm complete with fireplace, verandah or balcony.
William Morris Suite
The charm of yesteryear is evoked as you enter this large gracious room with king size bed, ornate fireplace and antique furniture. The doors open out on to a private verandah, courtyard and garden. A large private bathroom with bath and shower completes the suite.
Dormer Suite
Up a short flight of stairs, is a charmingly romantic suite of rooms with a magnificent white queen size bed, prettily draped in white muslin. A balcony overlooks the courtyard and attractive garden. The large ensuite is light and spacious and incorporates a spa/bath and shower.
Sunset Suite
This pretty room with a queen size bed has French doors leading to a private courtyard/garden. Here, the songs of bellbird, fantails and other New Zealand native birds greet you in the morning. An attractive ensuite adjoins the Sunset, providing a shower and special non-slip tiles under foot.
Bell Suite
Cosy and intimate are the words to describe this delightful chamber from which you step down into an ensuite complete with shower and non-slip tiles. There are twin or king size bed options, attractive New Zealand prints adorn the walls and a welcoming log fire to enjoy the privacy and peace.
Hall Suite
The generous proportions of this room reflect the warmth of the morning sun spilling through the windows as you relax in your twin or king size bed. A magnificent ornate wooden fireplace, draws the eye as an imposing focus in the room. The attractive private bathroom offers full wheelchair access and facilities for the disabled.
All of our rooms have, coffee and tea, home-baked cookies and fresh fruit, electric blankets, a nice selection of toiletries, hairdryer, high quality bathrobe, colour TV's and telephone. Internet access is available to our guests.
