Introduction of D`urville Hotel Blenheim
The Hotel d’Urville is the perfect place to relax after a day spent enjoying Marlborough’s many attractions. It’s a small hotel in the heart of the central business district with eleven, well-appointed rooms, an elegant bar, and modern restaurant.
The building - the Old Public Trust Building - is a Blenheim landmark. It was built in the art deco style in the 1920s and features a magnificent columned façade, grand staircase and high ceilings.
It was opened as a wine bar and brasserie in 1993 and the upstairs converted into a small hotel soon after. New Owners Chris & Helen Birks took over in October 2006. They wish to contiune to set about cementing the hotel’s reputation for style, efficient, friendly service and fine food and wine.
Our hotel has eleven, luxurious rooms designed to be both stylish and comfortable. Each room is uniquely themed and decorated – an experience in itself!
