A unique heritage lodge built in 1930, and recently renovated to become one of New Zealand’s premier boutique lodges. Set on 5,500 hectares of privately owned land, encompassing some of the oldest Podocarp rain forest in the world, Lake Brunner Lodge is a classic wilderness retreat, and offers guests luxurious accommodation amidst breathtaking scenery. Meals at the lodge are of an equally high standard, with the focus being on local produce, including wild venison, the obligatory New Zealand lamb, and fresh seafood from the rich waters of the west coast.
